In George R. Romero's zombie film, Dawn of the Dead, he depicted zombies returning to a shopping mall because their consumer instincts were so hard-wired into them that they still shuffled around the aisles even though they were technically dead. I shall be returning to the Town website to watch tonight's stream of the game against Bournemouth in a similar fashion. Not because I expect to be entertained or see my team triumph but out of muscle memory and grim routine. This is it! The big one! The most important game of the season so far for Carlos Corberán and his (occasionally) tricky Terriers. Today's game against Rotherham is a chance for Town to put some breathing space between us and the bottom three. But Rotherham will be desperate to get the three points themselves, to help with their survival struggle and to pull Town back into the scrap at the bottom. Huddersfield Town return from the international break this lunchtime with a televised game against Brentford at the John Smith's Stadium. The Bees are the Championship's top scorers so far this season but a few poor results leaves them needing a good run to keep their automatic promotion ambitions alive. Town will be hoping they can add points to their tally to reduce our relegation fears. Though it's likely to be a tough test for Corberán's men, as the away fixture against Brentford saw us handed a footballing lesson in a game where we barely laid a glove on the Bees. Huddersfield Town will hope to make it back-to-back wins when they take on Sheffield Wednesday tonight. The relegation-threatened South Yorkshire side come into the game on the back of a losing run of games but will be hoping the new manager bounce might finally start to kick in after Darren Moore has seen his new side lose the first few games of his tenure. Carlos goes into the game with a few interesting selection decisions, thankfully for the right reasons and we can enjoy seeing how he juggles his available players to come up with a plan to beat the "Massive" club. These team prediction articles have changed over time. Rather than trying to pick the cream of the available talent in the Town squad it's more of a case of cobbling together a starting eleven that is more or less fit and with players that are mostly able to buy a lottery ticket without needing ID. So the tricky away fixture at Preston is likely to see another Town team of players that are either inexperienced, out of form or over the hill. I didn't bother with a team prediction article for the last game because it seemed fairly obvious who would start against Middlesbrough. Against Swansea today there are a few more questions about who should play and Corberán will have to decide whether to persevere with senior players that are playing poorly or to experiment with youth against one of the league's best teams.
