Town play Luton this afternoon in their final game before the international break. Town's defeat to Luton during lockdown was one of last season's worst performances, seeing Town dominate possession but looking toothless in attack against a resolute Luton side (sound familiar?). Town have struggled already this season against defensive teams so it's likely to be a tough afternoon and a real test of how much the team have progressed under Corberán. Here's who I think should start the game today. Goalkeeper: Hamer It's a game that could come down to fine margins, so it's important we have a safe pair of hands between the sticks. Huddersfield Town entertain Bristol City at the John Smiths’ Stadium this evening in a match where the hosts are the bookies' favourites and the visitors haven’t won in five matches. The omens for this match seem to be in Town’s favour but we always seem to falter at the point we are hitting our stride so I wouldn't pay too much attention to the omens. Regardless of the outcome at least we can now expect to see this Town team work their socks off in every match and that’s been one of the real differences we’ve seen under Corberán. We might not always win games but 100% effort is put in by every player and that’s something that makes this team extremely likeable to watch. Here’s who I think will line up for Town tonight... My heart always sinks when I see we’re playing Millwall. I’m not sure they could be officially counted as a bogey team statistically but it certainly feels like they’re a team we rarely do well against. They thumped us in the final (admittedly meaningless) game of last season and farther back but more memorably, broke our hearts by knocking us out of the League One playoff semi-final in 2010. The song goes that no one likes Millwall but I feel like we’ve got more reason to dislike them than most. Millwall are actually a pretty decent Championship team these days too, to make matters worse. Tonight Huddersfield Town take on Birmingham City in the fourth game of this intense period of seven games in between international breaks. Carlos Corberán will have to balance picking his best players against their flagging levels of fitness. The selection is further complicated by Naby Sarr's suspension following his red cards against Preston. Birmingham are yet to score from open play so far this season but they are also solid in defence so it could be a low scoring game. Town’s challenge will be to open up their stubborn back line without leaving too many gaps at the back for them to exploit. Here's how I think Town will line up. Huddersfield Town take on Preston North End later today in a game they hope will extend their unbeaten run to five games. PNE are a hard-working, well-disciplined and physical side that will provide a difficult test for Carlos Corberán's men. Town's recent upturn in form means that confidence will be high going into the game but it is also the third game in a week, so there could be some tired legs. Here's how I think Town will line up. Goalkeeper: Hamer The difficulty for goalkeepers is that they can do everything perfectly right for 89 minutes but the only thing people will talk about is the other minute where you got it wrong. Predicted Huddersfield Town XI to take on Derby

Huddersfield Town take on Derby tonight in a game that looked intimidating at the start of the season but seems less threatening given Derby have lost four of their opening five games and are without their potato shaped talisman, Wayne Rooney. They’re still a good team and will give Town a stern test but our unbeaten run of three games will give our players confidence and Derby won’t be relishing the prospect of playing us after our victory over Swansea at the weekend. Carlos Corberán will have to decide whether he wants to stick with the players that won the game on Saturday or freshen up the lineup after only two recovery days since Saturday’s game. I think he will mostly stick with a similar team but will tweak things in midfield a bit to suit playing with three central defenders. Go...

After a disappointing end to the transfer window which saw Town fail to add any new players to the squad, Carlos Corberán has the same old faces to choose from for the game against Swansea. On the plus side, a few of the injuries from before the international break have healed and the likes of O'Brien and Schindler should be fit to play. So here's my predicted starting eleven. Huddersfield Town play Nottingham Forest tonight in a game they hope will lead to their first goal and points of the season. Forest haven't had a great start to the season either but have some quality players in their squad that could hurt Town if we let them. The team selection tonight presents Carlos Corberán with some tricky choices. In previous weeks he’s only had twelve or thirteen senior players available to pick from and then made the squad up with youngsters. Not an easy task given the players he has at his disposal. Carlos Corberán will lead Huddersfield Town for his first Championship game as Head coach later today, when we take on newly-relegated Norwich. Last weekend's Cup defeat to Rochdale and the two friendlies before saw Corberán introduce some of Town's academy players into the first team. Players returning from injury mean that we don't need to rely on the kids but some may have forced their way into the team anyway. Here's how I think Town will line up for the curtain raiser.
