Huddersfield Town fell to a 4-0 defeat to a clinical Tottenham side that severely punished some silly mistakes from Town. This match showed the gulf in class between the top six teams and the rest of the Premier League. We've been competitive in all six of our previous games, but against Spurs we never stood a chance. Having said that, Town didn't play all that badly. A few players had bad days and made silly errors, but we played some nice football at times and looked like we might cause an upset when we flew at Spurs in the opening minutes. Sadly we caught Harry Kane and Christian Eriksen on good days and they ripped us to pieces. I think this game will have taught Wagner and his men some valuable lessons and it's really not a big deal to catch a beating from an in-form Spurs team. He...

Huddersfield Town went to Burnley and played out a fairly tedious 0-0 draw. Neither side generated the moment of quality that was needed to secure a win. A point away at Burnley isn't a bad result for Town and there were some good performances. But it's hard not to wonder if we could have won it with just a bit more quality in the final third. Lössl - 7 out of 10 Had very little to do, but his distribution was once again superb. Short, mid, and long-range passes all found their man. His quick thinking and accurate kicks started a couple of breaks for Town. Löwe - 6 out of 10 Another below par performance from the German. Player ratings – Huddersfield Town 1-1 Leicester

Huddersfield Town were unlucky to only draw 1-1 with Leicester after they dominated long spells of the match. Leicester were unusually quiet and their best players struggled to make an impact on the game. While Town might have been unlucky to only come away with the point, there were smiles all round at the end. Town have once again played an established Premier League team and looked completely comfortable. The performance was more important than the result in my opinion, after a poor showing against West Ham earlier in the week. The Hammers deserved to win on the night, but the goals conceded were both a bit unlucky. Town's performance wasn't as at the same level as their other Premier League games so far. Huddersfield Town drew 0-0 with Southampton in their third Premier League game, giving them seven points from the first three games and sending them (briefly) back to the top of the table. It was a stunning exhibition of counter-pressing football from Wagner's men. Southampton looked visibly shocked by the intensity Town brought to the pitch and will consider themselves lucky to be taking a point back to the south coast. Huddersfield Town played their first ever Premier League home game against Newcastle United and came out on top thanks to an Aaron Mooy strike. Town have won two out of two in the Premier League and find themselves second in the table. It was another excellent performance from Town and the scores for the players reflect another good day's work for the squad. Nobody had a bad performance and a few were exceptional. Let's hope Town can keep up this level of quality for as long as possible.
