Huddersfield Town will play Luton tomorrow, hoping to register their first win on the calendar year and break the five game winless run we're on. There's even more pressure on this game as a wide section of the fanbase are feeling dejected after the transfer deadline passed without a new striker being added to the ranks. Huddersfield Town shared the points with Luton in a scrappy game that Town might have won with a bit more cutting edge at the top end but equally could have lost had Eiting not managed to score a looping header that was very difficult to score from. Town's defeat to Luton during lockdown was one of last season's worst performances, seeing Town dominate possession but looking toothless in attack against a resolute Luton side (sound familiar?). Last night Huddersfield Town were beaten 2-0 by Luton Town after putting in one of their worst performances of the season. The game was billed as a decisive one for our season yet the players failed to find any fluency or spirit and were deservedly beaten. Fingers were being pointed all over the place on social media, clambering for an answer to why Town have been so poor in big games. I honestly don’t know the reason but I have a few ideas.
