Huddersfield Town have launched a new away ticket priority system, which they’ve introduced to help work out who is most entitled to be at the front of the queue. Last season’s system caused acrimony among some supporters, who felt their loyalty to the club was being snubbed. The biggest change is moving away from consecutive years’ season ticket purchases as priority, to points being given to fans for more varied reasons. Huddersfield Town have confirmed the priority system for their forthcoming season in the Premier League. As predicted in my earlier article about the difficulties in working out an away ticket priority system, many fans have been left feeling aggrieved. There are winners and losers with the system that’s been announced but I personally think that the club have done a good job of trying to make a system that gives everyone a chance but rewards fans that have followed the club for the longest. Away ticket priority for 2017/18 – Who should be at the front of the queue?

This season will see David Wagner and his team coming up against some of the best teams in club football and have to solve problems that seem impossible. Before any of that, the club have a problem to solve that's as tough as any of the tactical challenges in the Premier League. Away ticket priority.
