Huddersfield Town beat Rotherham United 2-1 in the Caraboa Cup on Wednesday night. It wasn't a good Town performance and we were lucky to beat a spirited Rotherham United. There have been plenty of grumbles about the game online, so I thought I'd write about the positives we can take from the game. Jordan Williams looks like a good right-back Williams overlapped regularly and put in some decent balls to the box. He also tracked back well and looks like he can defend. Now Town have signed Florent Hadergjonaj it looks unlikely Williams will get many more chances to play for us this season. Based on this performance I think a League One or Championship team would want to take him on loan. That would suit the player, Town and whichever club picks him up. Huddersfield Town played their first ever Premier League home game against Newcastle United and came out on top thanks to an Aaron Mooy strike. Town have won two out of two in the Premier League and find themselves second in the table. It was another excellent performance from Town and the scores for the players reflect another good day's work for the squad. Nobody had a bad performance and a few were exceptional. Let's hope Town can keep up this level of quality for as long as possible. Huddersfield Town won away at Crystal Palace. We won our first Premier League game. We won 3-0. I still can't believe it. I wasn't sure if I'd ever see Town play in the Premier League in my lifetime, so to see us not only play but win convincingly was amazing. Pundits and bookies were not ready for this. We're supposed to be the whipping boys. Our lack of Premier League experience should mean we get walloped by established teams like Palace. We travel down to Crystal Palace for our first ever match in the Premier League and I can't wait for this game.
