Huddersfield Town managed to cling on to a 1-0 victory over West Bromwich Albion at the John Smith’s Stadium. A red card for Christopher Schindler meant Town had to play 30 minutes with ten men. It was another excellent team performance and yet another memorable game for the fans. Here are my ratings for each of Town’s players. Nobody had a bad game, and some of them were superb. Lössl - 8 out of 10 Made two vital saves late on to secure the win. Rarely tested otherwise but his distribution was excellent and he commanded his box well. Malone 8 out of 10 Played very high up the pitch and made some great runs. He's more of a threat going forward than Löwe and added something extra to our attacks. Huddersfield Town continued their rollercoaster season last week, following their impressive victory over Manchester United with a humbling defeat at the hands of Liverpool. The three nil defeat served as a reminder that we aren’t going to have it all our own way in the Premier League. David Wagner copied Mourinho’s example and tried to park the bus against the scousers. The tactic worked in the first half, as we managed to stifle Liverpool and limit their chances to a penalty that Lössl saved. Liverpool 3-0 Huddersfield Town – TerrierSpirit.com player ratings

Huddersfield Town were comprehensively beaten by Liverpool at Anfield, by three goals to nil. Town managed to contain and frustrate in the first half, but Liverpool found another gear in the second, which allowed them to run out well-deserved winners. Town played an unusually negative game, parking the proverbial bus until the first goal went in. Once they trailed they had to try to get back into the game, which only gave Liverpool more space to attack and allowed them to extend their lead. It wasn't a terrible performance by Town but there was a distinct lack of creativity and drive. After last week’s stunning victory over Manchester United, Huddersfield Town get another dream game. We’re going to Anfield to play Liverpool in the Premier League. Huddersfield Town recorded a historic 2-1 victory over Manchester United. It was an incredible occasion that I don't think I'll ever forget. While Manchester United were having an 0ff day, Town were at their best and worthy winners. It's unsurprising then that such a great result has led to some high player ratings. It was a wonderful team performance, with every player doing their bit to help achieve a win that will be talked about for a long time. Lössl - 8 out of 10 His kicking was great, with one punt upfield leading directly to Depoitre’s goal. Also made a good save late on to help us hold onto the lead. On the journey back from Wembley last May I spent a lot of time thinking about the teams Town would be playing this season. This was the first fixture I thought about, playing Manchester United at our own stadium. It's an absolute treat to be welcoming one of the best club teams in the world to Huddersfield. The challenge will be to get the Town players to put in a performance worthy of the occasion. Our first home game against a top six team ended in a 4-0 thrashing, but I'm quietly confident we'll make a better showing of ourselves against United. Huddersfield Town suffered a 2-0 defeat at the hands of Swansea City. The problems from previous games persisted, we lacked quality in the final third and made silly mistakes at the back. Here are my player ratings for the game. It was hard to pick out a good performance, as every player was somewhat under par. Jonas Lössl - 4 out of 10 Made a great save when Abraham got a shot away from a tight angle. Completely undid that good work with a sloppy pass that led to the opening goal. His distribution can be excellent but he needs to be more careful and only pass short when players are available. A few more performances like this and Rob Green may be given a chance. Huddersfield Town fell to a 4-0 defeat to a clinical Tottenham side that severely punished some silly mistakes from Town. This match showed the gulf in class between the top six teams and the rest of the Premier League. We've been competitive in all six of our previous games, but against Spurs we never stood a chance. Having said that, Town didn't play all that badly. A few players had bad days and made silly errors, but we played some nice football at times and looked like we might cause an upset when we flew at Spurs in the opening minutes. Sadly we caught Harry Kane and Christian Eriksen on good days and they ripped us to pieces. I think this game will have taught Wagner and his men some valuable lessons and it's really not a big deal to catch a beating from an in-form Spurs team. He...

Huddersfield Town v Tottenham Hotspur – Match preview

Huddersfield Town host Tottenham Hotspur on Saturday in a lunchtime kickoff. Spurs are the first of the big Premier League teams to try their luck against Town. It’ll be a special occasion regardless of the result, but don’t be fooled into thinking David Wagner won’t try and get something from this game. Town are in eighth position in the league on nine points, only two points behind Spurs in fourth place. It’s hard to believe that we’re doing so well, having only lost one game out of our initial six Premier League matches. While Town aren’t expected to win the game by the bookies, a victory would see us leapfrog Tottenham and get back into the top four (at least until the 3 pm games finish).
