Social media can be a dispiriting place when Town lose. But after the 4-1 victory over Watford it was a delight to see the tweets roll in. Here are some of my favourite tweets about yeterday’s game.
Will perfectly reworks Wham’s Christmas hit
โLast Christmas I gave you my heart, but the very next day, you gave it away… This year, to save me from tears, Iโll give it to David Wagnerโ ๐๐๐ #htafc pic.twitter.com/squoOex9bx

Reece Dinsdale shows how football fandom spans generations
On Dec 16th 1967, 50 years ago to this very day, my dad took me to see @htafcdotcom for the first time. We lost 3-0 at home to Bristol City in what was the old 2nd div.
Today we beat Watford 4-1 away in the Premier League!
Some things just take a bit of time. ๐
Thanks Dad. x ๐ pic.twitter.com/KK4EysKXzF— Reece Dinsdale ๐ (@reece_dinsdale) December 16, 2017
Kurt could be looking at a noise abatement order soon!

How does he do it?!? He looks like the most inept footballer Iโve ever seen, at the same time as being a complete game-changing genius!!!!!! ๐๐๐

Which would look aย bit like this:
Even TerrierBlog.co.uk was (sort of) complementary. Maybe not, but it’s an improvement on saying he’s got cricket bats for legs which he’s previously said about Big Col.

It may be getting boring to say this every game, but Town fans outsang Watford and made an incredible din.
#htafc fans are without a shadow of a doubt, the best set of supporters to come to Vicarage Road since we came up a couple of seasons. Class support.

I’ve seen a variation of the above Tweet after nearly every Premier League match this season. We’re building a great reputation for ourselves.
It felt like a party on Twitter after the final whistle

Huddersfield have scored four goals in an English top-flight game for the first time since 1956.

Town made these pundits look pretty silly
โฌ๏ธ WHO IS GOING DOWN? โฌ๏ธ
Merse: Swansea, Huddersfield, West Brom
Le Tiss: Swansea, Huddersfield, Newcastle
Thommo: Swansea, Huddersfield, Brighton
Charlie: Swansea, Newcastle, Huddersfield๐ฃ๏ธ You __________________

OK, there’s a lot of games left to play, and points to win, but when every pundit picks Town to go down despite the fact we’re currently mid-table it feels like a conspiracy. I hope they look pretty silly in May 2018.
